Local Government PSC - Course information
The Local Government PSC comprises 72 hours of training (12 days).
This includes 48 hours (eight days) of compulsory Core Modules and 24 hours (four days) of Elective Modules.

Both the Core Modules and the Elective Modules count towards the completion of the PSC.
The third Core Module of the PSC, Financial and Business Skills, and the fourth Elective Module are not undertaken at the local government school. Please contact The College of Law to book these courses separately.
Mode of Study
The Local Government PSC is run as a residential course each year before the annual Weekend School.
Annual Weekend School
The School is a regular event that runs in the spring of each year. Delegates at the Local Government PSC have the opportunity to participate in the Weekend School social activities including an Annual Dinner Reception. Delegates can also extend their stay to benefit from the training offered on Saturday and Sunday.
Accommodation
Residential bookings are administered by the Local Government Weekend School. PSC delegates will be sent an accommodation booking form separately. Please contact Linda Walker at the Local Government Weekend School at Linda@slgwes.org for further information about the accommodation.
