The College of Law Diploma in Advocacy (in-house only)
The College of Law Diploma in Advocacy provides further flexibility in gaining Higher Rights. It maintains the same high level of quality, but adds value in two key areas:
- an entire day is devoted to interim advocacy
- there is no distance learning component
- written advocacy
The Diploma comprises eight modules that can be delivered on an in-house basis anywhere in the UK.
Each module is six hours long. They are offered in single-day blocks and all eight must be completed to achieve the Diploma. Each module can also be taken as a stand-alone course in its own right.
There are two stages: Academic and Advocacy. Each consists of four modules.
For trainees, the Academic Stage of the Diploma fulfils the ‘electives’ requirement of the Professional Skills Course (PSC
The Advocacy Stage can be completed either before or after qualification.
Well structured, well presented and the right blend of seriousness and humour. One of the best one day courses I have attended in 30 years.
