LPC study patterns

Weekly study patterns vary on the LPC, but here’s a guide to our full-time and part-time study patterns:

Full-time (40 hours per week)

  • four workshops per week – 2.5 hours each
  • supported by i-Tutorials, online test and feedback exercises and independent learning and research

For your convenience, we also offer students the option of all face-to-face tuition concentrated into two set days per week.

Part-time – evening (20 hours per week)

  • two evening sessions per week, each consisting of one 2.5 hour workshop
  • supported by i-Tutorials, online test and feedback exercises and independent learning and research

Part-time – day (20 hours per week)

  • one full day session per week, consisting of two 2.5 hour workshops
  • weekly sessions typically run from 9am to 6pm, following the same pattern of i-Tutorials and workshops as the part-time - evening course.

Part-time – weekend (20 hours per week)

  • structured around directed self-study including i-Tutorials, online test and feedback exercises and independent reading and research
  • supplemented by approximately 24 two-day study weekends over two years, consisting of 2.5 hour workshops focusing on practical skills

16 month part-time – evening (20 hours per week)

  • two evening sessions per week, each consisting of one 2.5 hour  workshop
  • supported by i-Tutorials, online test and feedback exercises and independent learning and research
