LL.M in International Legal Practice - course content and assessment

To achieve our LL.M in International Legal Practice you need to successfully complete six of the following supervised online modules plus an assignment.

Assignment

You need to complete a 15,000-word assignment under the supervision of a College tutor. They will help you choose a suitable subject, which could include a topical legal matter, a current case being handled by your firm or chambers, or a new area you would like to explore.

Assignments can start once you have satisfactorily completed the modules.Assignments start in January or July each year and six months is allowed for their completion.

Assessment

The final unit of each supervised online module is a 3,000 to 5,000-word assessment.

You will need to achieve a minimum pass mark of 50% on all study modules and the assignment. If you pass all modules and receive a mark of 70% or more on your assignment, your LL.M will be awarded with ‘Distinction’.
