Please note there is an error on p60 of the eTMA Guide under the heading “Evidence of use of the internet and showing a research trail”. Please delete the words “for both questions” at the end of the 1st sentence in para 1, there is only one question in this eTMA.

Consolidation activity
In the first paragraph under PART 1, the reference to Tim in line 2 should be to Tom. The sentence should read as follows:
Robin has recently died as a result of a car accident, leaving a will. The will was witnessed by Sally and Tom, and contained the following clause: “I give £5,000 to Sally upon the trusts I have communicated to her.”

Unfortunately due to changes in the Land Registry website, it is now difficult to obtain a useful summary of how it is planned that e-conveyancing should operate. This information could now be obtained by going onto Westlaw and doing a journals search. A search using the term e-conveyancing will reveal the article 'Conveyancing in the 21st Century: an outline of electronic conveyancing by Deveral Capps Conv 2002 Sept/Oct 443/455.
