2. Manual 1 Unit 1 pages 24-26

Unit 1, p24, para 4.2.1(a)
Please note that the first sentence of the second paragraph should read:  "Where it is unclear whether a duty of care exists, it is possible to go back to the famous case of Donoghue v. Stevenson [1932] AC 562."  (The case is no longer referred to in the W200 version of the Mrs Morrison video.)

Unit 1, p26, para 4.3, "Consideration"
Please note that where the Mrs Morrison video has been edited for the purposes of W200, the clip where she buys ear-rings for £3 is no longer included.  As a result, please read the paragraph labelled "Consideration" as if referring to her toaster instead.  Her promise to pay the shop's price for the toaster is consideration for the shop's promise to deliver up the toaster to her.

Unit 1, p26, Activity 4
Please note that where the Mrs Morrison video has been edited for the purposes of W200, the clip showing her getting a hair cut is no longer included.  Therefore, please ignore item 4 on the list of possible "contracts" in the comment section of this activity."
