Interested in a career in law?

If you are interested in pursuing a career in law there is a range of support available to you from both the Open University and The College of Law.

Careers support from the Future Lawyers Network

As an Open University student, you are welcome to join The College of Law’s Future Lawyers Network. In addition to blogs, news, discussion forums and webinars, it contains The College of Law Employability Service’s Student Employability Programme (StEP), which provides detailed advice, online workshops and activities covering the key steps towards a legal career.  Steps 1-3 are open to anyone, while the remaining steps (4-10) are free to those who join the Network.  You can join the Network whether or not you intend to study the College’s Legal Practice Course (for those wanting to become solicitors) or Bar Professional Training Course (for those wanting to become barristers).
