For your trainees
It’s important to select the right PSC for your trainees, with electives tailored to your firm’s practice areas. The College of Law offers leading quality PSC teaching with a great choice of core courses, electives and locations and is the leading national provider of the course. You can opt to run the programme in-house, on a fast track basis, or send your trainees to our public courses. We offer a wide range of venues and dates, minimising disruption to your firm.

Continuing professional development is an essential part of a successful legal career – learning never stops. So we provide a range of flexible training packages in many specialist areas of law to keep your knowledge current and help you meet the challenges of practice.
Training can be provided through a number of routes.
In-house training
For firms with a large number of lawyers with similar training requirements, our in-house courses are often the most convenient and cost-effective option. Most of our courses can be run in this way. All our in-house courses are delivered by one of the College’s own highly experienced trainers. Timing and location can be arranged to suit the firm - at your firm’s own premises, the College’s facilities or at an appropriate third party venue nationwide or overseas on an ad hoc or regular weekly, monthly or block basis. Class sizes are capped at a level appropriate to each course to ensure maximum delegate participation and interaction.
Consortium training
We organise and administer training for consortia of firms who want to receive the same structured training courses. Classes are delivered either at the College itself or in-house at one of the consortium premises.
Public courses
We also run public courses at a number of locations nationwide, including at our central London centre. These courses are suitable for all types of law firms and in-house lawyers. And because we offer a wide range of dates and venues, there’s no need for every lawyer to be out of the office at the same time.
Multi-media CPD training
Legal Network Television (LNTV) is a comprehensive series of broadcast-quality training and updating resources available on DVD. It’s an accessible and cost-effective professional development solution and the most popular and widely used multi-media training for lawyers.
International lawyers
We offer a range of programmes for lawyers: for overseas qualified lawyers who wish to dual qualify and practice in England and Wales, or for lawyers who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge by studying international law.
Support staff training
We worked closely with leading law firms to design programmes specifically for support staff, legal secretaries, business support managers and other professionals.
