(Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test)
Being qualified in multiple jurisdictions greatly increases the marketability of individual lawyers and the capability of their firms. The Qualified Lawyers’ Transfer Test (QLTT) enables foreign lawyers to practice as solicitors in England and Wales. It is also suitable for UK barristers who wish to re-qualify as solicitors.
Global reach
The College of Law is the only accredited training provider to offer six annual QLTT sittings in London. It also offers two annual sittings in three other centres around the world, in Mumbai, Sydney and Hong Kong.
The SRA have introduced new guidance for use when determining the experience gained by applicants to the QLTR prior to their admission as solicitors.
