Alumni Association Summer BBQ
The first London alumni summer event was held at the magnificent Gibson Hall on 17 July 2008.
The good weather held out, and over 80 alumni members and College tutors attended the evening to take advantage of the drinks reception and BBQ food.
The College of Law's Chief Executive, Nigel Savage, gave a short speech to attendees about the success of the association to date; the impending opening of the Manchester centre in 2009; as well as developments happening over the coming months - one of which is the offering of careers advice by e-mail to our alumni (subject to the success of a short pilot of the scheme).
After the drinks reception and BBQ, entertainment was laid on in the magnificent main hall, with a band and cash bar. Attendees took advantage of the fine evening and used the award-winning garden to carry on socialising, whilst others took to the dance-floor.
