The College of Law is the UK’s leading provider of professional development for lawyers, whether working in private practice, in-house or the public sector.
We focus exclusively on equipping legal practitioners at all levels – from trainees to senior partners – with the knowledge and skills they need to further their careers and meet their continuing professional development requirements.
We offer a range of flexible opportunities for professional development. With some of the best tutors in the country, we encourage lifelong learning for all our delegates.
LL.M in Professional Legal Practice
Our LL.M in Professional Legal Practice is a flexible way for lawyers to gain a career-enhancing Master's qualification and reflects cutting-edge approaches to legal practice.
Professional Skills Course (PSC)
The PSC is an important final phase in your compulsory training before you qualify as a solicitor. Building on the foundations of the Legal Practice Course, it provides important practical instruction during a solicitor's training contract.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Courses
Continuing professional development is an essential part of a successful legal career - learning never stops. So we provide a range of flexible training packages in many specialist areas of law to keep your knowledge current and help you meet the challenges of practice.
Courses and Workshops
As well as an impressive portfolio of courses, we will be organising free Alumni exclusive two hour Professional Development taster sessions. See our events page for further details. Places on these taster sessions are limited, so early booking is recommended.
