Focussing on the implications for trainees, during our wide-ranging conversation we discuss the implications of out-sourcing work to countries like India and the associated opportunities this gives to law firms for international growth. 
 
We also discuss the likely consequences of the Legal Services Act and the scope to work with other professionals in alternative business structures for law firms and the opening up of the market for legal services.
