Simon MyersonBiography - Simon Myerson

I was called in 1986 and came to practice in Leeds at the end of 1987. I was made a Recorder in 2001 and took silk in 2003. I try to maintain a mixed practice – increasingly difficult these days – and practice in criminal and civil fraud, regulatory work and professional discipline, defamation and commercial work, with a bit of employment on the side. I practice in crime from St Paul’s Chambers, Leeds and in civil from Byrom St Chambers, Manchester.

I am married with 4 daughters and a dog and I consequently live amidst noise. I walk quite a lot, run a bit and sail when I can – all of these are things that one can do on one’s own and in silence. I also teach Jewish philosophy and history to adults for the Hebrew University’s Melton Institute.
