The College of Law in London Bloomsbury
Bloomsbury has always been a centre for big thinkers, and the College is based right at the heart of this vibrant area. It’s a fantastic location.
The Bloomsbury Centre – the biggest of the College’s five centres – is sought after by students around the world. With a large and diverse community the atmosphere is sociable and vibrant, yet professional at the same time.
Bloomsbury offers all pre-qualification courses – our GDL and BVC, as well as our commercial & private and public legal services LPC. Study here and you will rub shoulders with tomorrow’s solicitors and barristers whilst being trained by qualified solicitors and barristers.
Our modern business-like law school spans two buildings and boasts excellent facilities and resources:
- a vast four-floor law library
- multi-media teaching areas
- courtroom furniture in all BVC workshop rooms
- oral skills rooms for developing and practicing your advocacy and client interviewing skills. Each is equipped with CCTV camera, video, TV and microphone for self-recording an analysis
- the largest law careers advisory service in the country – where our specialist careers team can give you the most up-to-date advice and practical support
- a Legal Advice Centre, open to the Public, where you can get involved in our award-winning range of pro-bono opportunities
- an IT suite and various PC and group working areas throughout the College, all networked with internet access and wireless connection
- a common room and cyber café – a dining and social hub for students
- a professional, confidential counselling service
- separate male and female multi-faith prayer rooms
As for the social scene, the College has its own events and sports clubs run and the best of London’s nightlife and shopping – the West End, Covent Garden and Soho – are on your doorstep.
"My experience at the College of Law in Bloomsbury has been excellent both educationally and socially. The standard of teaching is superb."
