Living in York

All our courses are non-residential. Some students live at home while they study. However, many of you will need to find somewhere to live. There’s a wide range of accommodation in York to suit all pockets.

Our dedicated accommodation officer can help you find suitable accommodation close to our centre. Anyone accepting a place at the College has access to our online accommodation database to make finding somewhere to live as easy as possible. And our Housemate Finder Service can put you in touch with landlords who have property available locally, or help you to find a College housemate to share with.

York accommodation is close by and reasonably priced. With ample free parking, regular bus and rail service and superb cycle paths, you can choose to travel within budget.

“There is a great community spirit, encouraged by sports teams and an active social life.  This is helped by the size and student atmosphere of the York Centre –  it is not a hassle to walk to a friend’s house / rugby training / pubs”
