Get yourself on the fast-track to LL.M awards
Complete your BPTC with The College of Law and you’ll earn 60 Masters level credits and be a third of the way towards our LL.M Master of Laws degree.
Your routes to practice the BPTC
Graduation from our law degree is the best first step you can take as the start of your journey into the legal profession and the fast-moving world of law. Our Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) is a two-year course to get you ahead of the game.
If you have a non-law degree, the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) is our highly successful law conversion course. Our unique Preparing for Practice module equips you with the professional skills you'll need as a modern lawyer.
Once students have graduated with a qualifying degree in English Law or completed their GDL, the next step to a career as a barrister is to undertake the Bar Professional Training Course. Find out more about why you should choose to study the BPTC at the College of Law.
