The careers service in Manchester benefits from many years of experience and the College has superb relations with the local firms. The centre has the advantage of close proximity to many of the region’s leading law firms which reflects in the numerous activities that we are able to arrange for our students.
One-to-one guidance
The Manchester careers service offers one-to-one careers guidance to all students and is available to answer all your careers queries. One-to-one guidance will come in the form of interviews to assist you with your cv, career planning and any other individual careers queries. You will also be encouraged to contact us by email or telephone when you require support.
Law firms close at hand
The proximity of the law firms means that they are integral to student development and on hand to work closely with the College at all stages of recruitment. These firms hold regular talks and interviews, and attend and support College events.
Mentor opportunities
The local law firms provide vital support to College students through the mentoring scheme. If on the scheme, you will be allocated a mentor from a local firm and they will be on hand to advise, assist with decisions and provide guidance whilst you are at the College. This will also enable you to build strong links and increase your knowledge of the local legal firms.
