Sports and social
The Chester centre offers many opportunities for a rich social and sporting life, whatever your interests. You will have the opportunity to join the Student Activities Committee which is established each year to organise a full programme of sports and social events, supported by our Student Services team. The activities are numerous but here are some examples…

You may have a different interest and wish to set up a society, why not do it as there will probably be others who share your passion.
Many of our students entertain themselves socially at the local pub which has almost become a ‘union bar’. There is also a very convenient sports centre, including a swimming pool and gym, within easy walking distance of the College in Christleton.
Chester city centre has an extensive range of bars, clubs, restaurants, cinemas and music venues, in addition to its renowned racecourse. For shopping there is the Cheshire Oaks designer outlet village nearby and half an hour away, the famous Trafford Centre and Liverpool One shopping centres.
