Birmingham
Living in Birmingham
Birmingham is one of Europe’s most vibrant cities; a great place to live and work, it boasts one of the largest concentrations of leading law firms and lawyers outside of London.
It is a city with something to offer everyone. Keen shoppers will delight in the city centre’s friendly markets and the stylish stores of the iconic Bull Ring. Culture vultures can enjoy world class music and theatre at the host of venues on offer, which include the outstanding Symphony Hall, the Rep theatre, the Birmingham Hippodrome and the recently refurbished Town Hall, to name a few. Occasionally these theatres will send us special offers which we will pass on to our students.
Food lovers can treat their tastebuds with the spicy delights of the Balti Triangle or opt for fine dining at one of the city’s Michelin Star restaurants and partygoers can chose from the bustle of bars and clubs on Broad Street, the city’s hippest nightspots in the Mailbox or the cool clubs of the Arcadian centre.
And if you’re still stuck for something to do then you can always take in a game of premiership football, check out the city’s host of museums and art galleries or arrange a visit to one of Birmingham’s top international attractions such as the NEC, Cadbury World, Thinktank or The National Sea Life Centre.
With its wealth of legal organisations, chambers and firms, affordable property and diverse social and cultural opportunities Birmingham is a fantastic choice for students and young professionals looking to get their legal careers off to the best possible start.
